Mechanical Engineer, Test Hardware Fabrication

📋 Description

• Design tooling and fabrication aids to improve safety and accelerate builds
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce safety risks and improve efficiency
• Identify and adopt new fabrication technologies to cut costs
• Attend design reviews; advise on DFMA, lift planning, and sequencing
• Partner with planning, machinists, and quality to ensure robust processes
• Rapidly disposition fabrication issues with strong engineering fundamentals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, materials, or related engineering
• 1+ years of fabrication, assembly, and/or testing in a production or test environment
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and creating/interpreting 2D drawings
• Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing across multiple disciplines
• Familiarity with inventory, production, and capacity planning including MRP/ERP systems
• Ability to write work instructions and procedures for aerospace parts
