Own hardware and mechanisms from concept to volume production and on-orbit ops
Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive system-level optimization
Rapidly iterate on designs to inform system trades and steer product direction
Drive holistic DFM to reduce part count and ensure fabrication quality
Establish product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration
Perform environmental and performance testing to validate criteria

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM
Experience with CAD or FEA software
1+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis
Ability to travel to SpaceX, vendors, and customers
Willingness to work long hours and weekends
Solid understanding of GD&T (preferred)
