Mechanical Engineer, Satellite Bus (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Own hardware from concept to high-volume production and on-orbit ops.
• Develop design criteria, requirements, and system-level optimization.
• Rapidly iterate designs to inform system trades and product direction.
• Drive DFM to reduce part count and ensure robust fabrication.
• Manage product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration.
• Perform environmental and performance testing to validate criteria.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• CAD and FEA software experience.
• 1+ years in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, or testing.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX preferred).
• GD&T knowledge and structural analysis understanding.
• Prior ownership of a component/assembly from design to production (preferred).
