Design structural components and integrate propulsion systems for a full-scale prototype aircraft
Design metallic parts and assemblies to support propulsion mounting, interfaces, and integration
Own the prototype development process; requirements, design, BOM, procurement, assembly, test
Perform structural analysis and hand calculations to verify margins and loads
Conduct FEA on metallic structures and mounting systems to validate designs
Develop verification testing strategies and execute process-intensive testing

🎯 Requirements

5-15 years of engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Exposure to integrating or designing flight-critical components on primary structure
Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, NX); NX preferred
Ability to manage CAD and complex assemblies in Teamcenter
Proficient in load analysis, free body diagrams, and FEA
