Mechanical Assessor III

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site facility condition assessments with a multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluate HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, cooling towers, chillers, and boilers.
• Lead and mentor junior assessors; interface with clients and facility staff.
• Prepare written descriptions of observed systems and deficiencies.
• Determine system condition, remaining useful life, and recommendations.
• Prepare project progress documentation and support PM reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years' experience in mechanical/plumbing facility condition assessments.
• Experience evaluating HVAC, piping, and building equipment.
• Experience with building renovation and historic structures (preferred).
• Degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering is a plus, not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam; Adobe Suite; tablets/mobile tools.
• Willing to travel up to 40% for out-of-town assignments.
