Mechanical Assessor II

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site assessments of mechanical and plumbing systems; identify deficiencies.
• Collaborate with clients and staff to assess assets; walk 100k–225k sq ft daily.
• Determine condition, remaining useful life, and remedial costs.
• Provide technical descriptions of deficiencies from concerns to critical issues.
• Identify corrections and document details for planning and cost estimating.
• Interview operations staff to learn building history and prior work orders.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Experience evaluating HVAC, plumbing, and other building equipment.
• Direct experience performing facility condition assessments on mechanical/plumbing systems.
• Experience assessing healthcare and educational institutions.
• Prior cost estimating experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; able to manage multiple projects.
