Mechanical Assessor II

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site facility condition assessments of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Document deficiencies and remediation recommendations with budget estimates.
• Lead and support junior assessors; interface with clients.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs across large sites (100k–225k sf/day).
• Prepare project progress docs and participate in post-project reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of related mechanical/plumbing experience.
• Experience evaluating HVAC, plumbing, and building equipment.
• Direct experience conducting facility condition assessments for mechanical/plumbing.
• Experience assessing healthcare and educational facilities.
• AutoCAD proficiency required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Adobe Suite and Bluebeam; tablets/mobile tools preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 40% (field weeks and office weeks).
• Physically able to walk, climb ladders, and access roofs.
