- Act as technical contact for outsourced special processes and consumables.
- Review issues on parts, drive root cause, and implement changes at supplier/SpaceX.
- Create and disposition issue tickets; work with engineering to rework or repair.
- Own assigned products/processes as primary supply chain contact for defects.
- Conduct DFM reviews early to ensure parts are manufacturable.
- Own the NPI process at suppliers for new parts or changes and drive PPAP.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years in manufacturing or process engineering (incl. internships).
- Experience with special processes: coatings, chemical processing, plating.
- Proficiency in SQL and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FAI and Lean/Six Sigma.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
