Operate mechanical test frames or characterization instruments and report core material data.
Perform mechanical testing (tensile, fatigue, compression) on metals/polymers.
Maintain calibration and upkeep of lab instrumentation.
Document data and provide basic interpretation; flag off-nominal results.
Maintain safe, clean, and organized lab operations.
Lead lab-improvement initiatives and promote 5S in the workspace.

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years hands-on materials testing in a lab
Knowledge of safe lab practices with solvents and chemicals
Experience with thermal instruments: TGA, DMA, DSC
Experience with mechanical test frames: Instron, MTS
Strong computer skills: MS Office and JIRA
