Material Experience Testing Specialist

📋 Description

• Coordinate end-to-end wear testing for apparel and accessories across categories.
• Schedule tests, distribute samples, and track timelines to meet development calendars.
• Recruit, manage, and communicate with internal and external wear testers, ensuring proper fit and activity criteria.
• Create and maintain wear test documentation, including guidelines, evaluation forms, and performance criteria.
• Collect, organize, and synthesize wear test feedback into actionable reports for cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Design, Technical Design, and Materials teams to review results and decide next steps.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel, Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or Textiles preferred.
• 1–3 years in wear testing, product development, technical design, or QA.
• Strong understanding of apparel construction, fabrics, and performance.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace; PLM a plus.
• Passion for activewear and the Alo brand.
