📋 Description

• Advanced machining on manual mills, lathes, and CNC 3+ axis mills; maintain flight-grade tolerances.
• GD&T interpretation per ASME Y14.5; ensure part function, alignment, and stack-up.
• Programming and G-Code Mastery: Mastercam toolpaths; manual G-code at controller.
• Exotic materials: strategies for Inconel, Titanium, and hardened metals.
• Custom fixturing and tooling: design bespoke work-holding for fixtures.
• Quality and inspection: support metrology and first-article validation.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 15+ years in aerospace/defense/high-precision.
• GD&T Knowledge: ASME Y14.5; translate symbols into machining/inspection.
• Software Proficiency: Mastercam or Fusion360; SolidWorks preferred.
• Technical Expertise: manual machining; CNC 3-axis; exotic materials knowledge.
• Communication: coordination with engineering and quality teams.
• Education: Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent.
