The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Intern who is eager to gain real-world experience in a multi-entity, multi-division accounting environment. This internship is ideal for students pursuing Accounting, Finance, or related degrees who want exposure to operational accounting, financial reporting, and technology-driven workflows.

You will work alongside our accounting team to support daily operations, assist with reconciliations, learn accounting systems, and collaborate with cross-functional departments such as operations, property management, lending, and brokerage.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how accounting supports a rapidly scaling real estate organization.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support AP and AR processing, cash posting, and invoice tracking
  • Help maintain accurate financial records across multiple business units
  • Learn Sage Intacct and assist with system updates, reporting pulls, and workflow tasks
  • Help build and prepare basic financial dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Support month-end close activities and documentation
  • Assist with special projects, data cleanup, and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Partner with departments such as property management, brokerage, and lending to gather information
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational improvements

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivots a plus)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
