Manufacturing Supervisor, Starlink Silicon Assembly

📋 Description

• Lead a team of manufacturing specialists and technicians for silicon packages.
• Own safety performance; ensure EH&S training and safety policy adherence.
• Develop and mentor team via training, performance, hiring, discipline.
• Drive Lean, Kaizen, 5S, VSM to reduce waste and boost throughput.
• Develop and execute daily production plans; prioritize by commitments.
• Analyze data, resolve issues; lead 5Why/8D/A3 root-cause.
• Partner with engineering on DFM, standardization, and variation reduction.
• Act as primary tech decision-maker on production, efficiency, and staffing.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree with 3+ years in manufacturing/test, or 5+ years without degree.
• 3+ years with safety-critical systems and automated, multi-axis equipment.
• 3+ years of formal team leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering/ops management/math.
• 3+ years managing production teams in semiconductor back-end cleanroom.
• Lean, Kaizen, 5S/6S, Six Sigma DMAIC, SPC, FMEA, TOC knowledge.
• Experience with flight-quality/high-reliability hardware in fast-paced production.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Experience in low-mix, high-volume manufacturing under ISO9001/AS9100.
• Proficient with MS Office, ERP/MRP; Power BI and SQL a plus.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a high-growth environment.
• ITAR: comply with U.S. export regs; eligible for required authorizations.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Standing for long periods; climb ladders; bending and lifting may be required.
