Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

📋 Description

• Manage daily manufacturing operations to meet or exceed production goals.
• Coordinate planning, quality, and production teams for smooth workflow and inventory control.
• Develop and implement production schedules, staffing plans, and capacity strategies.
• Orchestrate workflow transition from 1st to 2nd shifts.
• Lead and coach a team of team leaders and production staff.
• Monitor KPIs (yield, downtime, labor efficiency); identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager to ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methods.
• Oversee equipment maintenance planning with the Senior Manager to reduce downtime.
• Provide input on production budgets, analyze variances, implement cost-saving strategies.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and performance.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and managers.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or supervision.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, communication, and people skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional integrity.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management role.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
