- Provide competent Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to Plant and Facility operations in a safe manner.
- Maintain, adjust and repair plant machinery to meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with USDA, OSHA, FDA, EPA and Local Government.
- Flexible schedule focused on preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
- Responsible for diagnosing problems, replacing and repairing parts, and testing high-speed production equipment.
- Generate work orders and parts requests; document PMs and maintenance activities.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts; follow GMP and safety policies.
π― Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- 4 years of experience working as an experienced level maintenance mechanic.
- PLC experience is a plus.
- Able to work rotation 12-hour shift including weekends and some overtime.
- Knowledge of food-grade aluminum and stainless-steel welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Acetylene).
- Own professional electrical tools (voltmeters/ammeters) and ability to read electrical schematics.
