Manufacturing Engineer, Supplier Development (Electronics)

📋 Description

• Act as technical contact for assigned parts; resolve supplier manufacturing/quality issues.
• Review issues; root-cause; implement changes at supplier or SpaceX.
• Create and disposition issue tickets with engineering for rework or use-as-is.
• Becomes primary supply chain contact for defects on your parts.
• Work with procurement to vet suppliers for quality and takt times.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors on DFM reviews for early manufacturability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, materials, metallurgical, etc.).
• 1+ years experience with electronics manufacturing and/or design.
• Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or materials science engineering (preferred).
• 2+ years experience in quality and/or production of mechanical or electronics hardware systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FAI; SPC knowledge; MRP/ERP experience.
• Onsite in Hawthorne, CA; travel up to 30%; valid driver's license.
