Manufacturing Engineer, Raptor Turbomachinery

📋 Description

• Develop manufacturing and integration processes for turbomachinery components in the Raptor engine
• Implement new manufacturing capabilities and resolve conflicting requirements
• Optimize existing requirements, approaches and processes using test data
• Develop tooling and processes for rapid, repeatable balance correction methods
• Drive innovative production processes to support high-rate production targets
• Interface with production technicians, engineering team, and leadership daily

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 1+ years in propulsion or power generation product design, development, fabrication, or test
• 3+ years in turbomachinery or rotating machinery with dynamic balance expertise
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• DFM and DFA expertise across development, testing, and production
• Experience in medium/high-volume aerospace production
