Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

📋 Description

• Remote, full-time QA role with SIMBA Team.
• Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases covering core user flows.
• Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices on new features.
• Document defects with steps, expected vs actual results, and evidence.
• Maintain organized QA docs: test cases, regression suites, release summaries.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to triage issues by impact.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manual QA testing with a strong focus on web apps.
• Strong QA fundamentals: test planning, design, regression, exploratory, bug reporting.
• Experience in Agile environments; cross-functional collaboration with engineering/product.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving; isolate root causes and document clearly.
• Strong written communication for defect reports and test results.
• Familiarity with Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking tools.
• Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and reproduction.
