- Analyze complex transactions per US GAAP (stock-based comp, leases, equity)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders (auditors)
- Develop and maintain Scale’s accounting policies in alignment with US GAAP
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and audit footnotes
- Support monthly close with journal entries for technical accounting
- Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required
- 5+ years in public accounting or mix with private; Big 4 preferred
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting guidance
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly
- Experience developing and operationalizing accounting policies
- Nice to have: experience with NetSuite and Workiva
