Manager, Structures Manufacturing Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a high-performing manufacturing team; establish skills matrices and succession plans.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for metallic aerospace structures (welding, trimming).
• Design, implement, and qualify welding cells, tooling, fixtures, and workstations.
• Own manufacturing planning; create/update work instructions, routings, inspections, ERP/MRP config.
• Drive root-cause analysis for manufacturing non-conformances with Quality and Design Engineering.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve manufacturability and transitions from development to production.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable STEM field.
• Experience in fast-paced development environments with evolving designs and requirements.
• Experience leading development-to-production transitions for new products.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve non-conformances and drive root-cause/corrective actions.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior leadership experience managing engineers in a high-performance environment.
