Manager, Software Project Management

📋 Description

• Own software delivery portfolio health: budget, scope, schedule, risks.
• Forecast, allocate, and rebalance capacity to meet targets.
• Provide senior oversight for complex, high-risk software programs.
• Identify, assess, and escalate delivery risks and dependencies.
• Lead and coach a team of 3-5 Software Project Managers.
• Hybrid work near Oakland, Orange, Portland, Boston, Chicago, or NYC offices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IS, Business, or related field.
• 7 years of experience managing complex software projects or programs.
• Experience supervising/mentoring software PMs and engineers.
• End-to-end delivery ownership: scope, schedule, budget, quality.
• Proficiency with Jira; experience with Monday.com or equivalents.
• SDLC knowledge; Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.
