Manager, Security Defense Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of 6 security engineers and analysts.
• Mentor, hire, and support career growth; raise the bar.
• Build and maintain security tooling: Vault, VPNs, LDAP, IDS.
• Oversee IaC automation (Ansible, Chef, Terraform) and IAM evolution.
• Manage on-call rotation and major incident support.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years leading security engineers or analysts.
• Experience managing 6 direct reports and career growth.
• Deep background in Infrastructure Security or Security Engineering.
• Strong expertise in IAM, VPNs, LDAP, IDS, Vault.
• Experience with security monitoring programs and incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, empathetic leadership.
