Manager, Security Defense Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of 6 security engineers and analysts.
• Build/maintain security tooling: Vault, VPNs, LDAP, IDS.
• Oversee IaC automation; evolve IAM and endpoint security (Ansible, Chef, Terraform).
• Maintain on-call health; escalation during incidents.
• Collaborate with DFIR to map detections to threats.
• Foster cross-functional relations with IT, Finance, IA, and Product Eng.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years leading a security team.
• Experience managing 6 direct reports and elevating talent.
• Deep background in Infrastructure Security, Security Operations, or Security Engineering.
• Technical credibility across IAM, ZTNA, VPNs, LDAP, Vault, IDS, and Security Observability.
• Experience with security monitoring programs and enterprise defense.
• Servant leadership with strong communication and empathy.
