Manager, Scaled Abuse Countermeasures and Research

📋 Description

• Lead and grow the SCAR team defending against scalable abuse.
• Set a vision focused on automation with ML-driven detection.
• Define north-star metrics and a roadmap for high-impact work.
• Launch a research program to answer attacker questions via experiments.
• Integrate signals into model features and automated countermeasures.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Safety ML, Data Science, Policy, Legal, and Revenue.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years managing technical teams (engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, or similar).
• 4+ years in Trust & Safety, fraud, or adversarial domains at consumer scale.
• Proven ability to drive ML and automation adoption in safety/operations.
• Strong analytical skills with SQL and Python for data analysis.
• Ability to apply behavioral-economics reasoning to adversarial systems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration.
