Manager, Mechanical Actuator Development

📋 Description

• Lead design, integration, and validation of high-performance electromechanical actuators for flight use.
• Own actuator mechanical design: motors, gears, screws, bearings, sensors.
• Conduct trade studies to optimize architecture, mass, performance, and fault tolerance.
• Create and review CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop actuator-system specs and component requirements.
• Build and maintain system models to validate actuator performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years in actuated mechanism or electromechanical design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ownership of complex engineering problems.
• Initiative in seeking critical information and closure.
• Experience in GD&T, kinematic analysis, Part 23, FEA, NX CAD.
