Manager, Machining Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and develop the machining engineering organization, including hiring and mentoring.
• Define and execute the machining strategy aligned with program goals.
• Drive technical excellence with robust process control for quality and repeatability.
• Oversee project execution, providing direction while empowering the team.
• Establish standards and procedures to ensure AS9100D and NASA 6030 compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and schedule alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or related).
• 7+ years in machining/manufacturing engineering with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred).
• Proficiency with NX, SolidWorks, and manufacturing simulation/CAM software.
• CNC machining, process optimization, and production scaling for high-precision components.
• Strong familiarity with AS9100D and NASA 6030 standards.
