• Lead backend and ML engineers to build signals and systems for Discovery, Ads, Growth.
• Set long-term vision for content distribution and recommender systems.
• Manage roadmap, decisions, risk, and progress updates to meet goals.
• Build ML systems, candidate generators, and features for millions of Pins daily with low latency.
• Predict fresh content and engagement; tune content titles to boost engagement.
• Identify and remove biases in recommender systems and measure impact of changes.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years industry experience; 2+ years in management.
• Large-scale ML systems for search and recommendations.
• Big data: Hadoop, Spark; real-time streaming (Kafka, Flink).
• NLP models and LLMs for content understanding.
• Led high-performing teams within a visible business vertical.
• Cross-functional collaboration; Bachelor's in tech field or equivalent.
