📋 Description

• Own and manage relationships with a defined community of policy orgs
• Build partnerships; briefings, access to expertise, and co-hosted events
• Define and execute strategies tailored to each third-party org
• Translate policy positions into framing for your assigned community
• Activate relationships for campaigns: letters, testimony, research, media
• Monitor sentiment shifts and surface opportunities for policy strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Have 10+ years of experience building and maintaining relationships with Washington policy organizations
• Understand how think tanks and advocacy groups operate, including incentives and funding
• Have credibility within one or more ideological communities
• Can translate technical policy positions into engaging outreach
• Are comfortable coordinating with campaign and government relations teams
• Are based in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC
