📋 Description

• Lead a team of senior engineers for Docker Build Cloud and Hub builds.
• Own delivery: turn ambiguous roadmaps into concrete, time-bound plans for regulated customers.
• Partner with Product to translate strategy into a credible roadmap.
• Stay hands-on in design and code reviews; contribute code where it helps.
• Shape the team's technical direction while giving the team autonomy.
• May participate in on-call rotations outside standard hours.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams with growth of senior contributors.
• 8+ years hands-on software engineering in backend, infrastructure, or platform.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Leader-first: strong on team processes and partnering with Product.
• Comfortable inheriting an established team; direct performance conversations.
• Technically deep and hands-on: design and code reviews; writing code when needed.
• Strong security focus: OWASP Top 10; familiarity with SLSA, in-toto, cosign, SBOMs.
• Understanding CI/CD, build-system internals, container images, and OCI registry mechanics.
