Own Metrology Lab roadmap; manage CapEx, infra, and a team.
Define GD&T standards (ISO/ASME) and drive data-driven tolerance analysis.
Establish correlation protocols; audit overseas partners (Asia) for data alignment and GR&R.
Oversee CNC-CMM and 3D scanning; lead root-cause investigations for NPI.
Partner with SQ and Hardware to implement DFI; validate gauges/fixtures before tooling.
Mentor and train teams to raise metrology literacy and GD&T expertise.

🎯 Requirements

10+ yrs in Dimensional Eng/Metrology; 3+ yrs in tech leadership.
BS in Mechanical Eng; MS preferred; GD&T ISO1101/Y14.5 and Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
Expert in PolyWorks, Zeiss Calypso, or PC-DMIS; SolidWorks and Windchill.
Proven DFX/DFI leadership with high-volume manufacturing partners in Asia.
Strong MSA/GR&R knowledge; translate data into executive insights.
Preferred Mandarin proficiency for intl partner collaboration.
