📋 Description

  • Develop and execute media and public affairs plans to promote priorities.
  • Serve as company spokesperson; handle media queries and placements.
  • Lead events and partnerships; coordinate charitable programs.
  • Create crisis communications plans; lead emergency response.
  • Prepare leaders for media interviews and community appearances.
  • Direct staff and oversee corporate communications projects; travel as needed.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years in Media Relations, Public Affairs, Journalism or related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; effective with media and leaders.
  • AP style knowledge; strong editing and storytelling.
  • Experience with national/local media placements.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience with social platforms and scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Spredfast).
