Manager, Clinical Lab

📋 Description

• Monitors workflow and ensures production goals and deadlines are met (e.g. TAT, SLA)
• Engages in future planning and scales employees and equipment appropriately
• Gathers and monitors production metrics (deadlines, efficiency, waste, errors)
• Monitors the quality control/assurance programs, test results, and equipment
• Uses metrics in decision-making to drive cost reduction and quality improvement
• Manages headcount to meet goals; drives interviews and PTO/overtime

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in Biological Sciences or related field, or equivalent
• 3+ years industry experience preferred
• ASCP Medical Technologist/California CLS/CGMBS license a plus
• Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Independent self-starter, team collaboration, and leadership potential
