Major Gifts Officer

📋 Description

• Identify and qualify new major gift prospects.
• Solicit major gifts; support exec leadership with donor communications.
• Oversee a portfolio of 30-40 donors; elevate mid-level donors to major donor status.
• Engage donors via calls and in-person meetings; guide outreach to CDO, CEO and board.
• Leverage HubSpot to identify and prioritize new donors; grow the donor pipeline.
• Support donor engagement opportunities, such as small events for prospects.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of major gift fundraising with six- to seven-figure gifts.
• Strong listening skills and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional oral, written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and internal partners with discretion.
• Comfortable maintaining data integrity in CRM and using data-driven decisions.
