Maintenance Technician (Days @ 6am - 6pm)

📋 Description

• Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance support to plant operations.
• Maintain, adjust, and repair plant machinery to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with USDA/OSHA/FDA/EPA and local regulations.
• Focus on preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Troubleshoot, test, and adjust high-speed production equipment.
• Generate work orders and parts requests; operate forklifts and related gear.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in food manufacturing; 4 years as maintenance mechanic.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• 12-hour shift rotation including weekends and some overtime.
• Electrical knowledge with packing machinery; able to read schematics.
• Welding (food-grade aluminum/stainless); fabrication and machining skills.
• Own tools; machining skills (broach/mill/lathe); safety/GMP; document work orders.
