TheRole:

Magna is seeking a highly capable and experienced Developer 2 to join our Delivery Team. This role is suited for professionals who have built a strong technical foundation across multiple Salesforce platforms and are ready to lead development efforts with confidence. Developer 2s take ownership of technical (primarily code-based) solutioning, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and contribute to architectural discussions, platform innovation, and code quality across projects.

Responsibilities:

• DesignandimplementadvancedSalesforcedevelopmentsolutionsacross2-3platforms,leveragingstrongplatformknowledgeandtechnicalacumen.
• Translatebusinessrequirementsintoscalabletechnicaldesigns(demonstratedviadesigndocumentation)incollaborationwitharchitectsandprojectleads.
• Owncomplexdevelopmenttasksincludingcustomscripting,APIintegrations,automation,andadvancedpersonalization.
• Engagewithclientstofacilitate/leadtechnicaldiscoveryconversationsandworkingsessions,recommendingdevelopmentbestpracticesandensuringtechnicalsolutionsalignwithbusinessgoals.
• Leaddevelopmentsprintsorworkstreams,ensuringtimelinesanddeliverablesaremet.
• Troubleshootandresolveplatformissues,identifyingrootcausesandproposinglong-termsolutions.
• Implementandoverseetheimplementationofbothcode-basedanddeclarativesolutions,test/QAanddocumentbuilds(includingtestscriptcreation)on2-3primarySalesforceplatforms.Emphasisonfollowingplatformandclient-specificcodingguidelines,namingconventions,deploymentpractices,etc.
• Writeandreviewhigh-qualitycodeusingApex,LWC,AMPscript,SSJS,SOQL,JavaScript,andrelatedtechnologies.
• Contributetointernaltechnicaldocumentationandknowledge-sharinginitiatives.
• Mentorjuniordevelopersbyreviewingwork,sharingfeedback,andprovidingdevelopmentguidance.
• Participateactivelyinagileceremoniesandcontributetoplanning,estimation,andretrospectives.
• StaycurrentwithSalesforceplatformupdatesandemergingtools,bringingnewsolutionstotheteam.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of development experience across multiple Salesforce platforms, with demonstrated ownership of technical solutions.
• Strongproficiencyinplatform-specificlanguagesandframeworksincludingApex,LWC,AMPscript,SSJS,SOQL,JavaScript,HTML,andCSS.
• DeepunderstandingofSalesforcedatamodels,automationtools,andintegrationpatterns.
• Experienceworkingwithexternalsystemsintegrations,APIs,datafeeds,CI/CDtools,andwebservices.PriorexperiencewithPOS,PMS,ERPdevelopment,includingintegrationswithSalesforceCRM,non-SalesforceCRM,datawarehouses,etc.
• Confidentcommunicatorwiththeabilitytoleadtechnicaldiscussionswithbothinternalteamsandclients.
• Collaborativeproblem-solvingability.
• Developer-levelcertificationsonatleast2Salesforceplatforms,with1-2additionaladvanced/specialty(architectorconsultant-level)certifications.
• Proventrackrecordofdeliveringhigh-quality,scalablecodethatmeetsbusinessrequirementsandtechnicalstandardsacrossmultipleSalesforceplatforms
