Machine Shop Supervisor

📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day CNC machining and rapid prototyping across two sites (Austin and SF).
• Partner with Design Eng, Manufacturing Eng, Quality, Supply Chain and Production Leadership to drive readiness.
• Travel monthly between machine shop locations.
• Manage staffing and production priorities; supervise CNC programmers and machinists.
• Drive safety, quality, yield, and efficiency using performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to drawings, documentation, and medical-device traceability; maintain tooling readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a management/senior supervisory role overseeing production.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrialization, or operations engineering in fast-paced production.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and process documentation.
• Knowledge of precision manufacturing (CNC, EDM) and ability to engage technically without deep hands-on machining.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between two locations.
