Machine Learning Research Intern (Reinforcement/Imitation Learning)

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and improve RL/IL algorithms; test in real-world settings.
• Stay up to date with RL/IL methods and robotics.
• Identify and drive promising RL/IL research directions for the team.
• Improve RL/IL pipelines for sample efficiency, speed, and scalability.
• Design RL/IL training and data-collection pipelines for fast robot deployment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop novel algorithms and diagnose errors.

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing MS or PhD in ML, CS, Applied Math, or related field.
• Experience implementing RL and IL methods with focus in CV or robotics.
• Hands-on experience integrating ML models onto a robotics platform.
• Experience implementing and deploying dexterous robotic manipulation tasks in simulation and on physical robots.
• Experience taking ML R&D and trained models into production.
• Experience in simulation-to-reality transfer learning.
