Machine Learning Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own infrastructure powering AI/ML across critical surfaces.
• Prototype, deploy, and productionalize novel ML architectures.
• Design and scale inference infra for low latency and high throughput.
• Build distributed training/inference pipelines using GPUs.
• Scale AI across Whatnot's ecosystem with new capabilities.
• Collaborate with ML scientists and product teams for impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years building ML systems and algorithms.
• 3+ years software engineering for production systems.
• 1+ year Python development.
• Bachelor’s degree or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
• AWS cloud services (Sagemaker, Lambda, Kinesis, S3, EC2) and Kafka.
