Machine Learning Engineer III, Shield

📋 Description

• Build threat-detection ML models for ransomware and user behavior
• Scale ML pipelines for high-volume security events (Spark, Dataflow, Vertex AI)
• Feature engineering for real-time and batch anomaly detection
• Deploy and monitor ML models in production at scale
• Collaborate with Platform, App Eng, and Product teams to translate security requirements into ML
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in applied machine learning
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Deployed and maintained ML models serving real traffic
• Experience with GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow) or AWS/Azure equivalents
• Deep understanding of feature engineering, model evaluation, and MLOps
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders
