Machine Learning Engineer, API Multicloud

📋 Description

• Partner with strategic customers to define target model behaviors.
• Build and scale production ML systems for post-training workflows.
• Investigate training outcomes and propose data/evaluation changes.
• Partner with backend engineers to integrate ML into AWS-native APIs.
• Feed learnings back into the platform with tooling and API improvements.
• Work with Research and Applied teams to productionize model improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in CS/ML, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional engineering in ML/infrastructure roles.
• Strong ML engineering experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with training and fine-tuning large language models.
• Strong fundamentals: Python, Rust, data structures, systems design.
• Experience with model customization, data pipelines, distributed systems.
