Senior Software Engineer, Rider Partnerships

📋 Description

• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
• Participate in on-call rotation; triage, debug, and resolve issues across apps
• Explain trade-offs behind technical decisions
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Partner with PMs, designers, and engineers to build features end-to-end
• Analyze internal systems to identify improvements and automation
• Share knowledge via brown bags and talks; promote best practices
• Mentor junior engineers with technical feedback
• Help define roadmap and architectural direction

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent in CS/CE or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years software engineering experience
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases
• Designing, debugging, and running fault-tolerant, highly available large-scale systems
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with Kubernetes and container tech (Docker, cri-o, etc)
• Ability to work in a low-ego, collaborative, cross-functional team
