Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate and maintain system components
Collaborate with engineers, science and product to drive projects from concept to launch
Build and operate large-scale distributed systems (Beam, Flink, Kafka)
Design and own real-time data consumption, storage, and sharing across Lyft
Write well-tested, readable, maintainable code
Participate in code reviews and open-source contributions

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience
BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Backend development for large-scale distributed systems
Understanding of distributed systems concepts (consistency, availability, etc.)
Preferred: Beam, Flink, or similar streaming platforms
Preferred: Kafka, Kinesis or similar messaging
