Are you a maker at heart — someone who thrives where code, design, and customer insights meet?
We’re looking for a Product Engineer (Intern) to join our SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) team — a hybrid role at the intersection of product management, engineering, and customer success. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, translate them into product concepts, and rapidly prototype solutions using AI-assisted (vibe) coding tools.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an early-stage product team experimenting with AI-native workflows and lean development. You’ll learn how to bridge user empathy, product strategy, and fast prototyping — skills that define modern PMs, startup founders, and future CTOs. This is a great role for someone technical and entrepreneurial who enjoys shaping products end-to-end — from talking to customers and identifying value, to building lightweight MVPs that make an impact.
Alessio – our Lead Product Designer, shaping product vision and co-leading the SRM team with Martin.
Martin – Product Manager, driving product development and co-leading the SRM team with Alessio, and your manager.
Customer collaboration: Participate in client meetings to understand problems, identify opportunities, and translate feedback into product requirements.
Prototyping & vibe coding: Use AI-assisted development tools to quickly create, test, and iterate on product ideas — no need to be a deep software engineer, but you should be comfortable reading and tweaking code.
Product design thinking: Contribute to UX/UI decisions with an intuitive sense for usability and design.
Project ownership: Manage small initiatives from concept to delivery, coordinating between customers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Technical process management: Help establish lightweight product infrastructure (e.g., GitLab/GitHub workflows, basic deployment setup).
Continuous improvement: Identify bottlenecks and propose ideas to make our early-stage processes smoother and more scalable.
Entrepreneurial mindset: You’re proactive, curious, and excited to work hands-on in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where you help shape how things are built.
Technical skills: You’re familiar with version control systems like GitLab or GitHub, have basic programming experience in any language, and are curious about AI-assisted development and “vibe coding.”
Design sense: You have a good eye for usability and an intuitive understanding of user experience and visual design principles.
Excellent communication skills: You communicate clearly and confidently — both technically and business-wise — in 🇬🇧 English and 🇩🇪 German.
Just so you know – we purposefully did not create a standard list of minimum qualifications for this role. We care much more about your motivation and ability to help us accelerate technical progress than we care just about your CV.
