About the role

A technical architect in Lovepop involves designing and overseeing complex IT systems to meet business requirements, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient. Key responsibilities include defining system architecture, selecting technologies, and creating technical strategies. The role also involves bridging the gap between management and technical teams, mentoring developers, and ensuring project progress and quality standards are met.

Own the solution lifecycle end to end. Manage complex, high-impact projects. Provide Technical Leadership on multiple simultaneous initiatives with Product, Design, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Engineering. Partner with Product Managers on strategy and roadmap. Drive technical planning participate in roadmap prioritization, and drive the on-time delivery of projects. Balance hands on work with providing technical leadership to the organization.

Lead architecture discussions that produce solutions for projects that create systems that are scalable, resilient and low maintenance. Set and enforce best practices for coding, documentation, and review standards. Ensure designs meet requirements and ship on schedule. Run agile rituals and balance feature work with operational excellence. Mentor organization and champion the use of AI to improve scale and quality of technical and non-technical deliverables.

Hire and develop top talent in Vietnam. Mentor engineers and scientists; guide design trade-offs and prioritization. Provides leadership to the tech organization to deliver accurate estimates and delivery dates on commitments to non-tech teams.Participates in performance management processes and provides feedback in yearly reviews.

Partner with business teams to uncover customer and process improvements. Educate non-technical stakeholders on constraints and risks. Validate assumptions, ask clarifying questions, and ensure we’re building the right features. Look around corners to find and propose solutions that benefit Lovepop customers and the business. Stays informed about industry trends and where new technology creates better systems for our customers.
