Loan Analyst (6-Mo. Contract + Benefits)

📋 Description

• Analyze loan applications, collect documents, and obtain third-party reports.
• Reach out to customers and third parties for documents and updates.
• Serve as primary contact for customers through processing and underwriting.
• Review documents against credit policy to prepare for underwriting.
• Meet and exceed daily and monthly quotas for new application reviews.
• Identify roadblocks or policy issues and coordinate with sales and ops.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet processing and funding goals.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects, including testing and training.
• Attend and provide feedback in team meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred) in business or related field.
• 1-2 years as Loan Analyst/Processor, or 2-3 years in mortgage lending.
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel/Google Suite.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to apply technology to help solve business problems.
• Excellent verbal and written skills enabling excellent customer experience.
• Open to giving/receiving feedback, follow a proven process.
• Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment of rapid change.
