As Light’s founding marketer, you’ll be the key storyteller helping define and communicate our company’s position in a rapidly emerging category. You’ll work directly with the founders and early team to build the B2B marketing function from the ground up—clarifying Light’s narrative, amplifying partner success, and driving industry awareness that accelerates new partner acquisition.
This is a hands-on, strategic role that blends storytelling, product marketing, and category design. You’ll translate a technically sophisticated platform into simple, compelling B2B narratives that resonate across the diverse industries we serve.
In your first six months, you will:
Develop our company’s core positioning, messaging, and category design playbook.
Showcase partner success stories and turn them into market-facing proof points that build credibility.
Distill complex product capabilities into clear, valuable solutions that resonate with partners.
Support sales by crafting compelling collateral and assets that make our offering easy to sell.
Drive visibility across key industry channels to introduce our novel business model to the market.
Build marketing playbooks and systems that lay the groundwork for a scalable marketing function.
You would describe yourself as being:

5–10+ years experienced in B2B marketing or a tech startup environment.
Based in Austin, TX and excited to be in the office with the team 5 days a week.
