Licensed School-Based Mental Health Screener

📋 Description

• Conduct mental health screenings across all district schools after identification.
• Use evidence-based screening tools to assess students' mental health.
• Analyze screening data to determine need for further evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and mental health professionals to plan supports.
• Provide brief interventions or referrals as needed.
• Coordinate re-entry meetings for students returning after screenings.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Current full clinical license in social work (LCSW), counseling (LPC), or LMFT.
• Minimum 4 years with children/adolescents with behavioral and emotional challenges; elementary age preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience administering crisis screening assessments to children.
• Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and common emotional/behavioral concerns.
• Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and care coordination for students.
