POSITION SUMMARY:

The Compliance Officer will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and serve as an integral component of the compliance function, helping to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations governing financial services, including term loans and merchant cash advances (MCA). This role is critical in managing regulatory risk and the daily operations of the compliance program. This position will also manage compliance analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic monitoring and testing of company performance related to regulatory obligations and commitments
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company-wide compliance
• Assist with risk assessments and internal compliance reviews
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters
• Assist with compliance-related reporting to the Board and governance committee
• Assist with managing policies and programs related to fraud detection, BSA/AML, and risk controls
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including ECOA, TILA, FCRA, UDAAP, FDCPA, GLBA, and TCPA
• Assist with the supervision of compliance training programs for employees

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory consumer compliance, preferably in fintech
• Strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
• Experience working in a sales-driven environment, balancing business goals with compliance
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Salary Range: $110K-$125K
