In this role you'll
Evolve and maintain our design system- components, patterns, tokens, and documentation- keeping pace with product needs and platform changes
Partner closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation across web, iOS, and Android, bridging design intent with technical reality
Enable product designers by creating flexible, well-documented components that accelerate feature development without sacrificing quality
Scale design consistency across multiple teams and products, establishing patterns that work for everything from onboarding flows to claims experiences
Drive adoption and education, helping teams understand when and how to use system components vs creating custom solutions
Identify and systematize patterns by analyzing product work across teams and turning repeated solutions into reusable system assets
Champion accessibility and quality, ensuring every component meets high standards for usability, performance, and inclusive design
What you’ll need
Adaptability, drive, and an efficiency mindset- we believe these matter most in human-AI collaboration
5+ years building or maintaining design systems at scale, not just using them- you've owned components, patterns, and the decisions behind them
Deep Figma mastery- variants, properties, tokens, library management, and structuring systems for maintainability across teams
Strong collaboration with engineering- you've written specs, negotiated constraints, and ensured accurate implementation of your designs
Systems thinking and problem-solving- you know when to create new patterns vs adapt existing ones, and how to balance flexibility with consistency
Documentation and communication skills- you can explain complex design decisions clearly and create resources that teams actually use
Experience with scaling companies- you've worked in multi-team environments where your system work directly impacts velocity and quality
Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
