Senior Frontend Engineer

Join our Frontend Platform team to build Uniclient—the unified infrastructure behind Lemonade's customer experience. You'll create scalable UI components that millions rely on.

In this role you'll:

Build the foundation: Create accessible, performant UI components in Uniclient—our unified frontend infrastructure that millions interact with every day

Ship cutting-edge experiences: Develop user-facing features using the latest browser tech, ensuring seamless performance across desktop and mobile

Design developer tools: Build intuitive, well-documented systems that make integration simple and boost developer experience across teams

Collaborate at scale: Work within a self-sustaining dev team, partnering with designers and animators to bring delightful experiences to life

Shape platform infrastructure: Contribute to frontend architecture that enables better, faster development company-wide

Turn complexity into simplicity: Take intricate insurance processes and make them feel instant and magical for our customers

Lead through code: Write scalable, safe code that generates consistent, beautiful experiences at massive scale

What you'll need:

5+ years frontend engineering experience with participation in large-scale projects that real users depend on

Advanced TypeScript, React, and CSS skills—you know these tools inside and out and use them to build production-ready experiences

Broad frontend knowledge: Deep understanding of frameworks, tools, and emerging technologies in the frontend ecosystem

Scale-first mindset: Motivated by writing code that's scalable, safe, and generates consistent experiences for millions

UX obsession: Passion for creating experiences that feel magical, not mechanical—you care deeply about every user interaction

Office presence: Ability to work in our office environment minimum 3 days a week for collaboration and culture
